    <description>&lt;p&gt;In my experience, 64bit Windows has been slow to get deployed even on the server as well.  But that is changing rapidly.  All of our new servers here have 64bit Windows, and I am starting to see a large number of new customer servers go that way as well.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;Desktop users on the other hand have been much slower to come around.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

    <description>&lt;p&gt;I have to totally agree with you, but I have to clarify something. 32-bit Windows servers can use 3 or 3.5 gigabytes per process if you change the default settings slightly, depending on the edition you are using. It's not much of a help but it's something alright.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
